The DMT MemBioRex®
Due to the serious pollution and the shortage of water, the treatment and reutilization of wastewater is one of the hottest issues all around the world. On one hand, all the governments and authorities continuously tighten the criteria of the discharge level and give all kinds of incentives to prompt the development of new technology. In another hand, all the companies and industries would like to use the better technology and reuse the wastewater to obtain both the economical and the environmental benefits.
Base on the global situation, DMT has gained and developed through the years a lot of know-how, experiences and references for cleaning of municipal and industrial wastewater with Membrane Bioreactors system (MBR)-DMT MemBioRex®.
The DMT MemBioRex® composes three stages, the physical stage, the biological stage and the separation stage. The physical stage fulfils the tasks of removing the grits and homogeneous the wastewater quality. And the biological stage- bioreactor will oxidize and remove most of the biodegradable materials and certain parts of the nonbiodegradable in the wastewater by the actived sludge with the present of oxygen in the reactor. While then nitrification, denitrification and dephophorization could be achieved with the anaerobic and anoxic situations. The last but not least, the separation stage-Ultrafiltration membranes will separate the effluent from the mixed liquor suspended solids and the mixed liquor suspended will be circulated back to the bioreactor. This results in excellent and stable effluent qualities, much better than the conventional actived sludge system.

As showed in the table, the result satisfies not only the critical discharge level, but also the reuse demands. In certain cases, another NF membrane unit could be added to the system to achieve more critical requirement.
