Project with the DMT Sulfurex® System in Russia, Project No. 3769

In 2002, DMT supplied one of her desulphurization systems, the DMT Sulfurex® system,  for an associated gas desulphurization project in the Sewernaja Neft Oil exploration plant, Russia.
In this project, the associated gas comes from the oil drilling and auxiliary water treatment facilities of the plant. The associated gas stream flow is 850Nm3/h with maximum concentration of 43,000ppm H2S. After treated, the gas is used for five Jenbacher gas engines which require the H2S concentration less than 200ppm.
Due to the process data and the particular severe site conditions-the plant situating on an isolated location which is 200m north to the Polar Circle with ambient temperature between -50 and +32 degrees Celsius, DMT decided to deliver the complete system together with all the auxiliary systems to make sure that the system can independently working well. The complete system includes two parallel desulphurization units, one solid NaOH storage/preparing/dosing system, one bleed-off reservation/pump system and one supply water de-ironing and softening system. Additionally, in order to against the severe weather condition, all the systems are well containerized in four sea containers with isolation protection, heating and ventilation system.
Since this DMT Sulfurex® System started up in 2002, it continuously serves the plant without any problem until now! In this year, some consumable parts will be changed, and it will go on to carry out its duty!!
