The survival competition Wampex 2010 took place during the night from November 12th to 13th at Lauwersoog/NL. The DMT team with Robert Lems, Joost Edens, Rene van der Kloet and Arnost Kabat, successfully completed the cross and finished in 37th place.
A WAMPEX can be described as a cross between a puzzle and a nocturnal survival. The total length of the course exceeds 25km. However it is not inconceivable that this is extended to about 35km or more by straying from the optimal route. The journey is as far as possible, held in beautiful wooded areas in or near Friesland.
