Lisbon area – Portugal. DMT and Clear Instalações Electromecânicas SA are building a biogas treatment installation for the waste handling facility of Amarsul. Both H2S and NH3 are removed from the biogas in a single installation before it is converted to green power for use in the Lisbon area. No chemicals are needed in the installation improving safety for the operators and significantly reducing operational costs. The installation is expected to be commissioned in Q3 of 2011.
