20-1-2012 Working at DMT by Martine Linnemans

Martine Linnemans

About 4 month ago I started working at DMT as a process engineer in the R&D department. Looking back this was a busy, fun time, very diverse and interesting. Besides inspecting several odour abatement installations like bio trickling filters, I also commissioned a Sulfurex® plant (chemical biogas desulphurization), inspected a BioSulfurex® (biological biogas desulphurization) in Romania and a biogas upgrading plant in Hungary. And I wrote the corresponding reports of course. Naturally I didn´t do this all by myself. Being on route with Jort, Robert or Melle, they had enough time to train and supervise me on what to be focused on.

Now my first priority for DMT will be to research new, effective and efficient technologies for desulphurization of air or biogas. Thereby optimizing the current technologies by decreasing operating costs and investment cost is important as well. In this way I can help DMT to continue to be your expert proposing the best and latest technologies to customers.

Of course, this is only possible while having a good work-life balance. At home I spend a lot of time with my daughter. During the summertime we like to sail with a whisper boat in the natural park The Weerribben, walking in the forest, cycling and visiting friends and family.
